Well I rarely include any rough sketch, incomplete work on my blog;however there does not seem to be much traffic, and little to no comments, so what the hell. These are two roughs for a cover I am currently being commisioned to make. They are not concept sketches since I am settled on using these images, but how the whole composition fits together, along with lighting and stylistic concerns in question and very much still in the works. This is part of the "Eden through Barb wire" project and I am very excited about it's future. Again, any feedback is appreciated.

Here are a few cover designs I did for a zombie book cover contest. You will notice some redundancy due to arranging similar motifs in different ways. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Pinups are done!!

Well if you have been following my blogs at all, you would remember the rough drafts I composed of two pin ups. I let this deadline really creep up on me, but in the end I completed the job. There is more color, stronger inking, and background work in these final copies. I look forward to any feedback, now on to future endeavours.

Title pages for "Art of Hunger" Done!

Well those of you following on Facebook, you can now see the final resting place for my zombie portraits. As you may or may not know, I am working on a small story entitled "Art of Hunger." It is a zombie tale which will be set within edward Hopper's iconic painting "Nighthawks." There is a layer of subtext through out the work which touches on hunger and pop culture. There will be more updates to come, but for now I hope you enjoy this small sneek peek.

This is a combination of clips from mine and fellow grad William Powhida thesis work. This was a joint project in which I still have fond feelings about. Although this is quite old and we have both moved on to other work, I felt compelled to include this short video on the blog. I was talking about animation with someone and they suggested I post it. I still love the crude nature of the charcoal and "garage production" aesthetic it exemplifies. Often, as many artists feel, I don't even want to be reminded of work done in the past. It is almost embarrassing, like how you used to be in High school. In this particular case I thought there were some great ideas explored, and would love to make another animation some day. Perhaps a motion comic?
